Hello guys! Yet another month has passed. Do you miss me? Hehe. How are you guys doing? Hope that you're still doing fine as always. My college life is extremely tiring as I need to drive and driving requires lots of concentration. Not to mention how much I hate traffic jams especially on early mornings. I always end up falling asleep on my bed after having my dinner without realising it until waking up on the next day because I was too tired from college. We frequently have class tests and lots of homework. I hate tests, it makes me nervous and extremely stressed. Thank god we have completed our econs test yesterday. The next maths and psychology tests are coming soon oh noooo! Today, I'm here to update you guys about the cafes and restaurants that I've been to during the month of April. I hope you'll enjoy it. :D

Let me start off with the first new cafe that I've been to this month which is Metalcube 1008 cafe & bistro that is located in Bandar Menjalara. I've always wanted to try out the food there but I didn't have the time and so during my April break, I went there with my mum and sis tagging along! They had a promotion in the month of April so it was quite worth to try. :)

I ordered one of their lunch sets which is black pepper chicken with a choice of soup of the day. This is their soup of the day. It tasted like mashed potatoes so I assume that it's a potato soup.

Mum ordered a glass of apple juice and look at it's decorations hehehe.

Sis ordered a affogato. Not a big fan of affogato though due to the extreme bitterness of the coffee. :(

Next stop, Butter and Beans cafe at Bandar Menjalara! I haven't been to any fancy or hipster cafes and this is my first time visiting a newly opened hipster cafe with my lovely friends, Slo and Tharveen. I love the ambiance of the cafe, it is quite a nice place to hangout with friends to sit down and have a chat. Okay, I suck at describing about things, please excuse me. :p

I ordered a cup of latte which costed me RM10.60 which is a tad pricey because the serving was quit small but I loved the coffee art! :D

They have unique tables and chairs that were made out of cages :D

Another stop, Johnny Rockets at Sunway Pyramid. I have always wondered how does it look like in that restaurant because it always look fancy from the outside of the restaurant. But to be honest, the dishes in the restaurant didn't really impress me though, it was just meh.

My sis and I ordered a plate of cheddar coated cheese fries. Well, I expected something better than this...

And we also ordered a cup of milkshake to try since people always mention that their milkshakes taste good. Nothing special though.

Then, my sis and I went to try out the Jipangi korean ice cream. The ice cream is also just meh cuz we expected the ice cream to be creamier or milkier. :/


On a saturday night, I suddenly thought of visiting Solaris Mont Kiara with mum and sis to see what we can have there for our dinner and my sis suggested us to try out the famous Gangnam 88 korean restaurant. Well, I personally don't really fancy korean cuisines but this was an exception. I liked the ambiance of the restaurant and the food was good. :)

Mum and I ordered a kimchi jjigae and it was really spicy omg.

I ordered a spicy ramyeon for myself :)

I had a cup of buckwheat tea and I loved it a lot even though it tasted weird at first :D

Before March ends

   
Yup.. I know what you guys are going to say.. it's my bad.. I did not promise to do what I am supposed to do.. I'm sorry.. no no please don't leave me.. I love you guys so much, really..

I know I haven't been blogging for a few weeks already but to those of you who are still reading my blog, I just wanna let you know that I LOVE EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU, *inserts big heart symbol here*, no but YES, SERIOUSLY.


Alright, cut the crap and getting into the main point, I bet many of you are going to ask me questions like :"Hey, so how's college?", "I heard that college is fun, is that true?", "Eh college damn fun right?". To me, the answer is NOPE. When I was younger, I used to think that attending college must be one of the best things in life but trust me you will not think so, except for the fact where you are able to wear whatever you like to college as long as looks appropriate. Not that I love mentioning about old stuff but SPM days are really better than spending your days at college not knowing what you're supposed to do and feeling lost for the whole time. Uh-huh, that's my current situation, not knowing what to do and I do feel a little lost now cuz A-levels isn't as easy as it seems. Maths in college is just like high school add maths and we were told that we need to memorise journals for psychology? Plus, I don't have any basic ideas or knowledge about economics but I'm currently taking that subject. Do you feel my pain now?

Wait, I know some of you might be interested in knowing what happened to me this month. Yeah, something major happened to me. Don't be panic, it's no biggie. I received one of the best birthday presents I've ever had during my lifetime. Yes, I have scored well for SPM! My hardwork paid off! I was really surprised when the teacher announced my name while I was sitting in the hall waiting to collect my results slip. My classmates did fairly well too! I have finally achieved my goal, which is to score straight As for SPM. A big thank you to everyone who supported me throughout this journey and gave me so much of motivation. :D  But it doesn't just end here, I still have my A levels to complete and my degree and masters to achieve!

On my birthday, I was truly touched and felt ecstatic as my college friends sang birthday songs for me while I just sat there not knowing what to do and feeling really awkward hehehe. And my gang of friends even bought me a present gosh! I had also received birthday cards from my sifu and another college mate. Felt so loved hehehe.

Got myself a cup of honey vanilla machiatto and a slice of tiramisu on a college day! :D

On my birthday night, my mum, sis and I went to TGIF for dinner :D

Just one of those days where I fell ill.

I would really love to blog more often but the only thing that restricts me from blogging is time and I don't know what to blog. Perhaps if any of you kind people would give me some ideas on what to blog? It's been a long time since I've ever posted anything interesting like food posts or travelling posts because I've never been to anywhere lately and the restaurants that I always go to are the same. Also, I don't have the chance to do hipster stuff such as going for cafe hopping and trying out new ice cream stalls or shops because you know, I am not working and hence I need to save all my pocket money for better things than to spend recklessly. :(

SPM results are coming to town!

       
HELLO! According to the title, yes, SPM results are finally coming into our hands by tomorrow (actually in less than 12 hours time)! Gosh, I'm feeling a bit nervous now. Before this, I told myself not to worry and not to get panic just because of the results but look what have I gotten myself into now? Panicking and nervous like everyone else. Haiyo. I really hope that things are going to be extremely fine/good! God bless.

Apart from that, I'm here to update my little space since I've not updated it for quite some time. I didn't blog during the cny period as I was busy with family errands and I didn't have anything much to blog about so yeah. Anyway, since cny is going to end only in like 3 days time, I'd like to wish you guys a HAPPY CNY and do enjoy the cny days before it officially ends. :)

It's already March and my birthday is coming in only two days time! I should really treat myself to something nice this year, maybe a slice of tiramisu and a cup of coffee from starbucks would do me good. Hahaha. If you're asking me how's my life in college? I would answer you, it's pretty tiring and busy as we're loaded with assignments and to be frank, I haven't gotten any ideas about what the lecturers were talking about (except maths) as I don't have the basics required for art subjects. I am now driving to college everyday since last week and it really is tiring. Hopefully I'll be able to cope everything well as a college student. Life being in college isn't as happy as being in high school I would say.

After looking at the long queue craze in One Utama's uncle tetsu cheesecake store, my sis and I decided to give it a try to see whether how good it's cheesecake tasted. I would say, the taste of the cheesecake is ordinary but the texture is super soft!

Went to try out this michellin star dim sum shop named Tim Ho Wan at the gardens yesterday. I would say that the food was good even though the food there is quite pricey.
