Skybridge, KLCC to Pavilion

Hello people! I'm here to blog again! This time, I'm going to blog about the KLCC to Pavilion skybridge that everyone's been waiting for, hehehehe. Well, not everyone actually. From my blog's stats, I can see that most of the people have been searching for the KLCC to Pavilion skybridge's information from my blog by typing different keywords like "pavilion skybridge/ klcc to pavilion skybridge/ skybridge klcc to pavilion.." and etc.

Now, I don't want to confuse any of you guys here. I actually blogged about the Petronas Twin Tower's skybridge *clickable* two years ago, not the bridge that leads to Pavilion (to be more specific). So I shall blog the skybridge that leads KLCC to Pavilion now!

Last night, my family and I were planning to go to Midvalley for our dinner but it was raining heavily. So we changed our minds and headed to Suria KLCC mall instead. It was crowded. Coming to Suria KLCC mall reminds me of my readers. This had inspired my to blog about this post. So, my family and I went to explore the location of this KLCC to Pavilion's skybridge. It was a great experience. All pictures were taken by using my handphone so the quality of the pictures aren't good, I apologize.

If you're unsure of where to go to the skybridge (KLCC to Pavilion), you can always ask for directions from the concierge. We are now heading towards the KL convention center by using this tunnel (which links the Suria KLCC mall to the KL convention center).

Then you'll pass through this tunnel to reach the KL convention center.

Mind you, it has it's own operation hours.

This is so true.

This is a piece of beautiful artwork.

Continued walking till we reach the food court of the convention center. This is also where the the Aquaria is located at.

Then we walked to the entrance of the Aquaria klcc, where you'll see a Starbucks cafe on your right.

Beside the entrance of the Aquria klcc, there's an escalator. Yup, take the escalator up.

Then there's a staircase outside the convention center. This leads to the skybridge!

There you are! The skybridge to Pavilion from KLCC!

Finally I took some clearer and nicer version of the pictures above using my camera as I happen to pass by that area :

Walking distance from KLCC to pavilion (or vice versa) by using this bridge will take you around 10 to 15 minutes to reach your destination depending on your walking speed.

So that's all about the KLCC to Pavilion skybridge. We didn't get to walk to Pavilion through this bridge as it was already about 10.15 pm when we reach this place. So we walked back to the Suria KLCC mall and went home afterwards. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to leave a message or a comment in the comment box below.

See you guys soon!

Nitrogen ice cream!

Hello everyone! It's sunday and yeah, I'm here to blog today! *grins widely* I have just come to realize that the internet is one of the most important part in my life. Without the internet, life is quite boring and dull as you can't get to see any news updates or to search anything that you want to know on google. My house has no internet connection since friday so both of these days were hard for me as I can't get to online or to see the latest tweet updates from twitter. Without the internet, I couldn't get to listen to my favorite songs and watch silly videos on youtube. Life is meaningless without the internet, literally. Don't you think so?

Time flies. The form 5 students are having their SPM examinations next week. I'll really miss my bus mate, Chai Hwai. Taking the bus back home without her is seriously boring. Try imagining sitting alone in the bus everyday and there's no one there to talk to you. That feeling is just so... terrible. Life goes on. Well, it doesn't matter, we'll be meeting each other again soon! Good luck to you my dear. :)

Back to the main topic, I shall talk about NITROGEN ICE CREAM! *shrieks*

Have you guys heard of nitrogen ice cream? Bet some of you haven't. Exactly, it's just ice cream made out of liquid nitrogen. To learn more about nitrogen ice cream, you can search for it's details in google. When I was first introduced to this thing called the nitrogen ice cream, I could hardly believe that the ice cream is actually made using liquid nitrogen. I was like : "what? are you kidding me?". But no, it really is made by using liquid nitrogen. How amazing! I had my first nitrogen ice cream experience last month at the NBrew stall in midvalley megamall. I love the texture of the nitrogen ice cream, it is smooth and creamy. Yummy! Thinking of it makes me feel hungry now. :p

Taken from my instagram.

24-10-13

Hello everyone! I have come to realize that I haven't been bringing some long or interesting updates lately. Nothing much to talk about or to blog about, and that's pretty bad. Anyway, a few days ago, we (my sis and I) have just gotten ourselves some new kitchen gadgets. Kitchen gadgets? Huh, sounds kind of lame.

image

Recently, my sister and I have gained some interest in exploring the ways of preparing desserts and stuff like that. We tried making ice cream out of simple ingredients and we even tried to make milk pudding (I'm a fan of milk pudding so my obsession towards milk pudding will never end). Sadly, I still can't figure out how to make the best milk puddings out of simple ingredients. Though the steps of making a simple milk pudding seems to be very easy but it's quite difficult to create a 'perfect' milk pudding out of it. I shall take some of my time to explore more dessert recipes, if possible, hahaha. Here's some of the instagram pictures if you have missed it,

Tried out the new electric mixer that we just bought recently. We made egg white frosting out of simple ingredients. I got the recipe from martha stewart's website. It's simple and easy to make. But for me, the texture of this frosting is awful. It's like eating egg whites which are incorporated with air. I think it'll taste better if we added some cream into it. :(

IMG_8213
Got a piece of waffle to try out the frosting that we created.

The creamy egg white frosting.

Dipped into the bowl of frosting.

I shall try to make buttercream frosting with the sister in the next round. I prefer buttercream frosting compared to any other frostings as it's simple to make and it tastes really good.

That's all for today's update. Thanks for reading. See you guys soon! :)

Free from the finals!

I'm finally free from the final year exams! Phew, that was absolutely tough. Hopefully all my hard work will be paid off. Stayed up late for a few nights and woke up at 4 in the morning just to study. Sacrificed so much for it. Sigh. My dark eye circles are getting worse and the pimples on my face are just so.. urgh. All those sleepless nights are making me tired. I shall take the opportunity to rest more and relax a little bit! Boo yeah! :D

Making steamed chocolate cakes

Hello earthlings! I'm here today to share with you guys about my experience in making steamed chocolate cakes! Well, it's supposed to be steamed brownies but the cakes don't look like brownies so yeah, let's all just call it chocolate cakes. I decided to make my own moist chocolate cakes as I can adjust the sugar level of the cake myself. Most of the chocolate cakes sold in bakeries contain high sugar levels. Although I have a sweet tooth but that doesn't mean that I love foods which contain a lot of sugar, instead I love foods which are low in sugar levels. To me, cakes which are extremely sweet are rather disgusting.

So I got the recipe from this blog, oureverydaythings. It's fun to make especially when you have a partner. I made these chocolate cakes with the help from my little sister and my grandma.

IMG_7945
Part of the ingredients needed.

IMG_7946
I used van houten's cocoa powder.

IMG_7947
Sugar.

IMG_7948
Preparing eggs and sugar.

IMG_7949
Mixing the sugar and eggs together.

IMG_7950
Done with the mixing!

IMG_7952
Prepared a cup of flour.

IMG_7953
Some baking powder.

IMG_7962
Mixed all the ingredients together and placed it in a wok.

IMG_7961
We placed some of the batter into cupcake moulds.

IMG_7966
Okay so the outcome doesn't look that good but it tasted okay.

IMG_7964
We tried to make some white frosting while waiting for the remains of the batter to be steamed.

IMG_7963

IMG_7967
This is the outcome of the so called 'frosting'. Well, I nearly whisked the egg whites into foam and eventually failed when I added some butter into the mixture. My arms were really tired and painful after this entire whisking process. Guess I need to gain more experience on this.

IMG_7968
And here's the outcome, doesn't look appetizing though.

IMG_7969
Ended up pouring my failed 'frosting' into the cake.

I wasn't pleased with the outcome of our first try so I've decided on making some new ones.

IMG_7973
This is the second round. I added more cocoa powder into the batter this time and it looks more appetizing. And obviously it tasted way better than the previous one.

IMG_7972
I made some chocolate sauce to go with the cupcakes. :)
You can search for the recipe through google.

IMG_7977
Added some chocolate sauce onto the cupcake.

IMG_7974
And the outcome of the steamed chocolate cupcakes!

IMG_7996ed
The cupcakes tasted really good and I loved it. :D

In a nutshell, these steamed chocolate cakes are easy to make and it's really suitable for those who do not have an oven. Try this if you have the time. See you guys!
